One of my best friends from the army forwarded me an email he received from a guy who was also one of my best friends while i served. His name was Chris Mckaig, he was one of the craziest dudes i had the pleasure to serve with. the kind of guy who would literally do anything for a friend. I always knew he would one day become a hero. This is a article his hometown paper did on him and the battle of Wanat. I am so proud to have served with this guy and see that he is OK. Hopefully we will be seeing each other soon, it had been a long time since i heard from him and now I know how to get in touch we will be staying in touch. Please read the article its a great story and i am not at all suprised to see Mckagis name in this light.
