Take me for what I am, a star newly emerging.

That's a diverse group!
I would have to say that Metallica and RUN DMC are shoo-ins. (shoe-ins?)
A strong case could be made for Jeff Beck and Iggy & the Stooges.
War- maybe with hits like "Why Can't We Be Friends", "Low Rider" and "Spill the Wine"
Chic was a pop disco band with "Le Freak" being their biggest hit. less likely.
Little Anthony , eh not songs that last. "Tears on my Pillow" is the only one I can remember, but then again, they were before my time.
And as trivial as my mind is, I am not at all familiar with Bobby Womack or Wanda Jackson.

I loved RunDMC back in the day (still do) and have around 50 of their songs on my mp3 player.
Funny, the news of this reminds of their video "King Of Rock" where they bum rushed a rock and roll museum after being shunned. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fumgOJLFSHw

I'd agree with you on everyone except for Jimmy. Something tells me he's going to have a hard time getting in there.CaptainP wrote:Among others also not in the hall -Staredge wrote:Looking at the list of eligible but not in........who cares??? Madonna?!?!?!?!? BEFORE ALICE COOPER?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
