Sounds like Millen is OUT.........FINALLY!!!!

Rumor has it that the Detroit Lions/Pussycats are FINALLY :D going to be void of one General Manager Matt Millen. This hasn't been substantiated at this time but rumblings are that he's either already or is in the process of cleaning his things out of his office. Wait a minute, now they're saying he IS GONE!! With the non-news about Clay Aiken, when I saw the title of this thread (Sounds like Millen is OUT) I thought Matt Millen was gay too.

I was getting used to Detroit being the laughing stock of the league. This could screw up my suicide pools if Detroit starts winning.

People around here thought that too......that Millen & team owner William Clay Ford had something going on. how else can you explain Ford keeping him around this long!! [smilie=whistle.gif]

You Lions fans are light weights.  Then fans in KC have been trying to get rid of King Carl longer than Millen has been in Detroit.

Well, this was before I saw the report. I only looked at the paper this morning, and nothing was mentioned. I do not know why he was not fired after he fired Steve Marrucchi. You kept waiting for the Ford family to do something, and they did NOTHING. He set your franchise back with bad draft choice (Charlie Rogers comes to mind) after bad choice. This needed to happen a lot sooner and the Ford family did nothing

The thing is as bad as we are in KC, he couldn't be any worse then Carl...
Last Night on the news a older guy that had Chiefs Season tickets for 29 years was selling them.... There are also 2-3 Chiefs Buses on Craigs List in KC!! Hopefully we won't screw up the 1st round pick next year!!

Hard to believe that Carl has been there as long as he has. I was a freshman at KU when they hired him.

Are Glenn Dorsey and the kid they got from Virginia not working out? That offense is horrible

ALL I can say is we s***!!! Everywhere, if their was a brightspot it is now you can get in to the parking lots because more and more chiefs fans are staying at home! I thing we need to fire all the coaches bring in someone that is a young coordinator somewhere and let him build this team in to something in a year or two! Trade Larry Johnson, DeWayne Bowe and get some draft picks because it is gong to be 2011 before we can even think about being better! Brodie is not the deal at QB.... We do have a good punter!!

Millen was a great player, but only Isiah with the Knicks and Millbury with the Islanders come to mind as being as incompetent as GMs.

We'll see Millen back in the booth by the end of the season, or the start of next year.....at least he was better than Troy Aikman. I have to turn the volume down when he's doing a game, he's the absolute worst.
