Maybe if she dressed like a BAG LADY, they'd all be inclined to vote for her.

There was scrutiny of John McCain's expensive shoes back in July.
Damn.. sorry I missed such an historical event.

I get mine colored professionally every six months, the rest of the time it's Miss Clairol and a trip to the Hair Cuttery every other month.

Does that make me low maintenance?
I do believe it does. I used to never get mine done at the beauty parlor but using the OTC when I did chemo really messed mine up. I'm scared of OTC colors now
I've heard that your hair changes when it grows back after chemo. I'm lucky enough not to have had to go through that. I just had my 40 year old squeeze and all is clear. :D :D :D

One of these days, with my luck, the box will say Chestnut Brown and I'll end up with a fantastic shade of green.

Hopefully it will be in March and I can just tell people it's for St. Paddy's day.

Yes, they were, and they SHOULDN'T have been.
As a sitting President and U.S. Senator, I'd rather they spend a few bucks making themselves presentable than looking like Joe-sh*t-the-rag-man.

The point is that she sets herself up to be Jill Everyperson and she's not, it has nothing to do with being a woman or a man, her whole image is that she's just like us, but she's not, my point was that she can't be Jill Everyperson when her wardrobe budget is more than what I make in a year that is why I brought up the glasses, btw I paid $150 for mine at Wal-Mart b/c I don't have eye care insurance and neither do most Americans

I saw that just now. Morris is the worst. I can't believe he's such a prominent analyst on that network. He's been wrong so many times when he's made predictions on that network.

Does that make me low maintenance or middle American?

Can you be a typical Middle American Woman if you live in New Jersey?

All kidding aside, I have not determined who will get my vote. I am not willing to vote party lines this year.

Can anyone out there tell me who I should vote for?

I don't want more taxes, The Government makes enough, they need to learn to operate with less, like we Americans have been doing for years. (years before GW, if I remember correctly)
I want them to bring home our boys and girls from Iraq and
I want Ben Laden Drawn and Quatered in Times Square.
I don't think we should let India answer our telephones and
I would like to give my kids a good education and still be able to retire when I reach, I don't know, 85 years old.
I'm pro-life for me, but I can't begin to make a decision for any other woman, which, I guess makes me overall pro-choice.

So, tell me BN, with these opinions in mind, who do I vote for????
I think you have to investigate those issues that matter to you, which you have named, and figure out who best matches your views.

I tend to feel that I don't have a great understanding of economics, and tend to base my vote largely on the social issues that really matter to me. Those positions, plus the war in Iraq make my decision a pretty easy one.

Keep in mind too that one of the most long lasting decisions a president can make is a Supreme Court appointment since that is for life. And, as one who favors choice, that issue becomes critical for me as it hinges on one vote.

And while it is true that a democratic led Congress would block a prolife candidate, there is no guarantee that the Congress will remain democratic for the next 4 or 8 years.

Actually, ALL the talking heads on CBS agreed that she did not "sink the ship" tonight...so maybe your bias just wants her to sink it and in reality she didn't. Sorry to disappoint.

Bill Clinton got blasted because it was reported that he held up air traffic at a major international airport while he had his hair styled by Christophe aboard Air Force One.

It was a push, as someone said early she won on style, he won on substance. Neither party will gain or lose much from tonight. A disappointment for me, I wanted some fireworks not canned responses.

I'd like to see her give a press conference now, and be asked follow ups to see if she really does have a grasp of the issues that goes just beyond the talking-point type answers. The debate tonight didn't really allow for followups, and even when there were followups, Palin simply ignored them and went on to talk about something else.
