Sort of...only this has no happy or sad ending.

I'd rather watch the last 20 minutes of that movie, then have to read this thread...

Volcano, please learn to use the proper punctuation... :D

I have a book of piano music to all the songs on "Meet Me in Margaritaville"

I have worked through all of 'em, the ones that sound best so far are Changes in Latitude and Come Monday.

I like to play along with Fingers' harmonica playing on several songs, but only have harmonicas in C ang G so far, so can't play with all of 'em yet.

I admire anyone who can play guitar, especially Buffett music!

It is if you can't play guitar!

And some of the piano arrangements are fairly challenging :-?

When I took a guitar class in college in 1978, the first song we learned to play was Margaritaville. It was on the radio then! Our teacher was cool.

He played it on the record for us first, then gave us a mimeographed (This was before xerox copiers) sheet of his typewritten lyrics with the appropriate chords labeled.

He got the lyrics wrong, saying "crazy concoction" instead of "frozen concoction." Funny the things that stick in the mind!

Good for you, Volcano, for playing all those songs! I never learned any more than that one song. My husband can play a LOT on the guitar, though. I think I might take lessons one day. Are you taking guitar lessons?

His punctuation is just right! He just needs to add an s on songs. No big deal. 8)

What is the deal with Volcano? I thought it was someone who was drunk but I'm starting to think otherwise.

If you listen to Volcano (the song, not the...whatever kind of person they are) you can hear where someone plays a whole different guitar part than what the song is doing, which means, basically, they played the wrong thing.

I'm amazed at how people make such a big deal out of playing Margaritaville or something on their guitar. A retarded monkey can play that.

Another great Jimmy song to play is Time In A Bottle. Although I still love to play that one Jimmy song that is outstanding, Sister Morphine. Still, my fave is still Jimmy's song I Love This Bar.
