Jim and his pilot flew into my local small airport today in Sussex County NJ for a few hours in his buoyant Caravan..we're a paved airfield. Unfortunatly I wasn't there but my father was that's his second home . My Ol man was going to ask him for his autograph but Jim was on board already and had closed the hatch and was heading out. Jim missed out on a great opportunity to meet some real old characters here .one is 95 year old Wild Bill Voorhees , an inductee into the Teterboro aviation hall of fame ...looks like Frank Perdue ....a great story teller of experiences
Well don't know what Jim was doing in town but I'm sure it wasn't for the food. Only thing in this area is cows and horses and an underused minor league stadium

Maybe he's considering upgrading the food in the area and adding a margaritaville.

I was born and raised in Sparta, NJ which is part of Sussex County. My parents still live there. Wow, I wonder why he was there? I agree that it wasn't for the food.

Maybe that "underused minor league stadium" has something to do with it, given Bubba's history with Minor League Baseball.
