I've heard through the grapevine that she doesn't like a short monkey...

Hey, it's not THAT short!
And it has a wide stance.

It's all her fault.
She found it in the store.
She brought it to my attention.
And she made me drink all those margaritas.
Which lowered my resistance to frivolous purchases.
Thereby guaranteeing that I'd want to buy it.
So I blame her.
Besides, she thinks it's pretty damn funny!

I knew I liked her

And she couldn't really complain .... the lamps she bought (which were the reason we were in the store in the first place) cost twice as much as the monkey. Of course, maybe we didn't really NEED a monkey ......

Hell no, he looks like he's the gossipy type.
What happens on the cruise, stays on the cruise.

I thought it rather ironic that on MSN, one of the Popular Searches was this.
Monkey Waiters
Yat and Fuku Chan
And on a side note, if your monkey is bad, does it get spanked?

Depends on how bad he is. If he's naughty, he spanks himself. If he's really bad, someone else spanks him.

According to the little instruction sheet (for attaching the base and tray) that was in the box, the monkey's official name is: Rothchild the Chimp
We've decided only to address him as Rothchild when it's a formal gathering. At all other times, he'll just be Bonzo.

A woman got on a bus holding a baby. The bus driver said, "That's the ugliest baby I've ever seen!"
In a huff, the woman slammed her fare into the fare box and took an aisle seat near the rear of the bus. The man seated next to her sensed that she was agitated and asked her what was wrong. "The bus driver insulted me," she fumed.
The man sympathized with her and said, "Why, he's a public servant and shouldn't say things to insult passengers."
"You're right," she said. "I think I'll go back up there and give him a piece of my mind."
"That's a good idea," the man said. "Here, let me hold your monkey."

I think I'd be uncomfortable letting a man hold my monkey. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
