At the risk of showing how stupid I am, I just learned this. (I wish someone would have told me this when I was renting cars

). There is an arrow on your fuel gauge that points to which side of the car the gas tank is on. Did everyone besides me know that?
BTW = driver/left side.

Someone emailed us with the info--- the side that the nozzle is on in the little pic is the side your gas tank is on----not on our Nitro
The Nitro is on the left---don't remember the other cars

is your convertible an American car Tommy?
use to be, mostly, like a lot, that American cars were on the left (Drivers side here) and them there Japanese cars, it's on the right....cus that's their Drivers side. Tank position doesn't change when they made the driver sit on the other side.
Oh, and mines on the right....yes I drive a foreign car...sorry, it was used and it's paid for!!

My gas tank is in the middle but I fill it from the RIGHT side of the car. Thanks for asking the question but now this is going to bother me for the rest of the day.
I wonder if I can get it changed to the LEFT?

Driver's side on my car.
My husbands (American) car is on the passenger side (which I don't care for).

My Isuzu truck built in Louisiana is on the left
Kristi's Dodge Intrepid built in Canada is on the left
My mom's Ford Taurus built in Mexico is on the right
I think they just flip a coin, heads left, tails right, drop the coin and the tank goes in the back
Of course what if your a Semi-truck driver?? Or a motorcycle rider??

If you ever run out of gas and have to use a gas can, the passenger side is much safer.

Actually, only a few have that feature. Out of the 6 4-wheeled vehicles we have, only 1 has that arrow.

Left!

At least, our truck has it on the left.
Our car's is on the right.
