It's 100 feet where I am, and that includes buttons and t-shirts worn inside the polling place-I haven't had to deal with the shirts but I have had to tell voters that they must remove the button they are wearing or leave the polling place. And the 100 feet law is from the door entering the room where the election is, so if they go outside and count off 100 feet, at my polling place, they could stand in front of the windows that our voters look out on, and that would be within the law.SharkOnLand wrote:Here in Colorado, she'd be either run off or arrested, they don't allow demonstrators within 500 feet of polling places.sonofabeach wrote:Sidenote:
There was a nutcase lady out front holing up McCain/Palin sings yelling out "You'll be sorry if you vote for Obama. He's a terrorist"
I just shook my head and laughed at her
And I have to make sure on Election Day that my car is 100 feet away from the entrance or I am violating the law.
