Anyone else see this movie? I thought it was great (but I grew up in and love Syracuse, so I am biased  )

Even if you are not a football fan it is a great movie and great story, my girlfriend doesn't even know the rules of football and she thought it was a very good movie.

Mad Dog said he walked out of the movie in tears. He then found out there were a ton of historical inaccuracies and artistic license taken and ended up bashing it.

A ton? I only heard of one (the fan scene between SU and WVU)

It's on my list of movies to go see. Despite historical liberties it still looks pretty good.

I can't remember exactly (I wasn't listening too carefully) but the score of a big game was not as close as they make it. Also, I think there is a scene, maybe toward the end, where Ernie Davis saves the game on D which was untrue. Mad Dog was really ticked that it portrayed West Va as very racist and the game was not even played there.

But if you see the movie you will understand it's about the story of the MAN, not the GAMES...
