in an episode during the first season Don's wife stated she was 24.

I am not sure how much time has passed in regards to the plot of the show since the first season but that means she could've been pregnant when she was 15 or 16. Her mentality is not much more sophisticated than her daughters. Interesting. (and her home life certainly does not help her emotions . . . horny, f'ed up dad. stroke or no stroke . . . what a weirdo).


EDIT: Don, btw, told his doctor that he was 36 or 37; I forget which. That means if his wife got pregnant at 15 or 16 (and he is 13 or 14 years old then she is) that Don was nearing or at 30. People go to jail for that nowadays.

I'm sure she was lying though. She was out of college when she met Don, and they have an ~8 year old, so she's at least 30.

Did anyone else get the impression that her dad abused her? The boob grab could have been confusion from the stroke, but then the maid told her that her father was a very sick man, and she said she had been waiting to hear that, plus her screws seem loose anyway.

Sheila (why can I remember the female characters names but only three of the men's?) was just the girlfriend- they said this week that she dumped him shortly after he got to Mississippi to protest.

Yeah, I'm thinking something is up there. Also that neighbor kid that was visiting her, I think that odd relationship is linked to her past somehow.
