So, the last one, Hawaii, has finally come out.

Have any of you collected all of them?

It's become a big deal to us.....my Mom started it for Caitlin when she was little...with the big fold out map....and now we do it and think of her!

I've gotten all the other states from the washing machine here at the Malyn, and Hawaii is the last one to complete my collection.

My dad did that for my kid, too.

I am not, but my mom does. She works for a bank, so they're uncirculated. I think they'll be my nieces' beer funds once they go to college.

I started collecting the state quarters when they started minting them. I've never been very good at that sort of thing, and this proved to be no exception. I got too bored and/or impatient and/or poor and it didn't last past the first half dozen or so.

My first thought was that it was about the quarters we kept in the freezer for Parrotmedic

I bought the 10 annual sets the mint put out with the 5 quarters from each year. I also collected the individual quarters whenever I got them in change when I was shopping. I got a Hawaii quarter in change on New Year's Eve to complete my collection.

My collection folder has spots for both mints. (P and D) I have at least one of all of the quarters, but not one of each mint for all of them.
Still looking....

I had two complete collections-one of which I was going to give to my neice (sister's daughter) as one of her Christmas presents, and the other I was going to my nephew (brother's son) as a Christmas present.
Lo & behold, I get over to my parent's house on Christmas morning, and they had one complete set for each of their four kids and each of their two grandchildren.
I've actually been collecting coins since I was 10 years old.
I do have some really rare ones put away.
Speaking of quarters, I think I read somewhere that THIS year-2009-a quarter will be issued for the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, and American Samoa, but nobody seems to know for sure.

I got Hawaii just the other day....
I really didn't care about the actual mints when looking for them so I only have one of each state...
So now I have an album worth 12.50
