Sounds like Elton John and Billy Joel are planning to tour together again next year. I saw the tour in 2003 and it was excellent. One of the better live shows I've seen.

I saw them back in 94 at Giants Stadium. It was good.

I don't think there was ever a commercial release, however, there is a soundboard quality bootleg of their Hartford, CT show that you can find online.

Saw Billy a few months ago and I'm see in Elton in a few weeks at the Mohegan Sun. I liked Billy Joel, but I loved the concert. He is a showman at best. Was a great night!!! Seeing Elton John in two weeks and again, I don't know much of his stuff, but I can't wait to see the concert.

Cool - we saw this too and it was great (except the sound mix for Elton John was HORRIBLE - too loud (I can't believe I typed that) but it was so loud it was distorted - we tried to get a note through ushers to the sound guys - but it didn't work. Still a fun show!

I know we saw them here in Raleigh the last time they were together, but I can't believe it was in 2003! Maybe it was... I don't know! I know we saw Billy solo since then, and that also was a great show.

Got our seats today for Charlotte... We're far enough back that I think the sound should be AOK!

I saw that schedule, and also read it's going to be a long tour so I'm sure many more dates are coming. And Billy Joel is playing solo 5 dates in Tampa in Jan./Feb. too.

Hmmm, if Jimmy would play Tampa on March 7 or Feb. 9, that could be a fun weekend.

Heard a rumor that this could be the Fenway shows next summer.

I got my tickets on Saturday to see them in Charlotte on March 7. It cost me a pretty penny but that is mine and my husband's Christmas to one another.

Great show seen them twice, they were much better at foxborough stadium the sound in the banknorth garden was a little of during EJ's set was a little off the night I saw them there but I would love to catch them again.
