It has only developed in the last couple years, and it only kicks in during the hay fever months in the spring and fall. I'm thinking that it's the hops in the brew?
I'll have a couple of Miller Lites, and within an hour my sinuses back up, and I have sneezing sessions that can go on and on
It doesn't matter where I am... home or away. It is certainly frustrating, but not as debilitating as others I am reading about here.

We have medic alert bracelets and Epi-Pens and YES! I don't leave home w/o them!
Yeah, I'm probably preachin' to the quire on this one. You wouldn't believe how many people we've run into that don't carry that stuff. It's just asking for trouble...
We have Epi-pens at our house and even for the grandparents for when they have him. As well as in the clinic at his school. The doc suggested bracelets but we have not gotten them.....yet. Before he was dianosed and we got the epi-pen, benadryl worked fine for the two times he had a small reaction (snickers and a nutty buddy). It's scary. The doc said a peanut reaction might not affect you much one time and the next time it could kill you. I dread the day "if" I have to use the pen.
Yeah, I forgot about the epipen at school. The braclet can be tough for little kids - you get the whole "I don't want to wear it" arguement. If you get something that looks cool, they will probably resist less. My kids are starting to complain less (they are 5 and 7).
As for using the pen, my kids school said the policy is if they see a reaction, use the pen. Don't give them benadryl and wait and see how it goes; it's too shoot them up right away. That sort of freaks me out but if they are having a reaction, the adrenaline in the pen isn't going to kill them. It's gonna help. It's not like the scene in Pulp Fiction
My wife when she was growing up, had an actual syringe and a little container of adrenaline. Imagine being a parent, seeing your kid have a reaction and then having to put medicine in a needle and stick them. F that - I'll take the epi any day!

Wow, that's weird. I guess it's onto rum then, huh?
