JoAnn, thanks for the review and I enjoyed reading everyone's posts. I wish I could have been in Las Vegas. What a special night! The night Nadirah was at the Casa during MOTM I was able to get my CD signed. What a sweet lady!!!
Welcome to BN Mallory!!!!

Hey Mallory! You have an awesome voice. You took Walking in Memphis and made it your own. I loved it.

I thought it was and it is such a lovely dress. You were great Mallory and we really enjoyed the night. Mallory do you know the name of the artist who did the painting? I have emailed Vinnie twice and also emailed photos to her and still I am waiting for her reply. Perhaps they have gone to St Maarten about the bar.

Thank you so much Mallory - we thought he was the artist. Wonder if my luck is still in and if I enter the Landshark raffle for going to Hawaii to see Jimmy everything paid I could possibly win - or would they allow me to enter being from the UK. Gonna give it a try anyway but don't think I would give this prize away!!

Well, if you can enter and win and decide to give the prize away, my name is Liz, and i have a beautiful guide dog named Sammie, and we both will be ready to leave freezing cold Michigan for Hawaii.

I missed seeing Sammie in Vegas but spoke to you at Hooters after the show at the MGM. I have tried entering but it won't let me enter the competion because I live in the UK. Never mind I only wanted to see the Jimmy with the surname having two t's and not going to a buffet to eat! I think Sammie would prefer the bufffet:lol:

I guess I need to check these posts more often. Who'da thunk the little girl that I hung out with while dancing and singing with Club Trini would be all grown up and living her dream!
What a wonderful surprise to find you, Mal, and your dad, SD (who gives some of the very best hugs in the whole wide world.....). Kudos and congrats on your continued success!
We gotta get the Thin Line Crew together again very soon. It has been way tooooooooooo long. So, when are you going to be singing with Nadirah again? Might be a great time to get the old gang together, huh?
Congrats again. Us frozen Parrotheads in Michigan are so proud of you!!

It's been nice listening to Jimmy's introduction to the songs on Nod To The Storyteller when they play the songs on Radio Margaritaville.
I've heard a couple of them. They just had an introduction before Makin Music for Money. I think the other introduction I heard was for Creola.
Has anyone else heard these intros?

I have, and at first I thought it was some kind of special that I hadn't heard about...
I know I must have them saved somewhere around here... you don't have them anywhere now do ya?

Thanks, gbman

Well folks, I finally got off my fat a**....I was cleaning up some pix I had and this takes care of 2 things. #1)Everyone gets to see photographic proof of Mallory singing with Nadirah.....Domino College Tour, August 20th, 1995 (9 years old) The Meadows Theater, Hartford, CT
#2) I get to totally embarrass my kid....It's ok though, I read somewhere that it is a written rule in the Fathers' handbook...really
That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!
ShrimperDon---till next time
