Received word via THE coconut telegraph that the Captain is back in the hospital. Hopefully he will be out in time for the benefit.

Today's KW Citizen has an article about Capt. Tony, including a mention of Jimmy.

Wore the shirt he gave me in May all day today. I've been a Key West wannabe (visitor) since 1970. I knew him when he owned the bar and have hung out there (and when I drank rum while Jimmy and others favorites--not so notable--played) for over 30 years. Have hung several bras and business cards over the bar.
I just can't imagine Key West without the Captain wandering around. The island has lost too many of it's truly original characters in the past few years. Phins up, Cap. Sail on Shel, Cap Outrageous and many others.

I was listening to Meet me in Margaritville this morning. I heard "Last Mango in Paris". Said some good thoughts for Captain Tony and smiled. What a life
