Re: Top Ten Overall Buffett Songs
Manana and One Particular Harbor have always been a very clear top two for me, ever since the very first times I heard them. There is just something about those two that separates them from the rest. Manana overall #1.
Rest of top 10 is very difficult to choose....I would go with the following 8, in no particular order:
Tin Cup Chalice
Another Saturday Night (his best cover, IMO)
Havana Daydreamin'
Brown Eyed Girl live in Indianapolis 7/15/1999
Surfing In A Hurricane
Volcano (overplayed yes, but still my favorite song from the yellow album)
Desperation Samba
The Wino and I Know
6 more that came very close to making the cut:
Growing Older But Not Up
Miss You So Badly
Banana Republics (Portland 2005 is the best live version I've found on Jokelben)
Jolly Mon Sing
Lage Nom Ai
Boat Drinks, the 2011 Bruins Version
Favorite Xmas song would be Ho Ho Ho and a Bottle of Rum.

Re: Top Ten Overall Buffett Songs
A note on the above list I submitted: While I list O.P.H. as my second favorite and it definitely is because the lyrics mean so much to me, there are actually some songs below it on the list that I look forward to hearing even more than it at concerts- only because OPH is played at 80-90% of shows, whereas some of the other songs below it are played less often.
There were a few others I could have easily included in the "6 more that came very close to making the cut" list, like Lone Palm, Jamaica Mistaica or even Fins from the yellow album. It was very hard to narrow it down!
