3-ish, and I guess I better cancel my Days Inn reservation and switch to the comfort inn.
Take me for what I am, a star newly emerging.
I accept the new found man, and I set the twilight reeling.

14 miles, 20 minutes, and $65 cheaper.....

The closer you get to Mohegan the more the room cost goes up.

However, for Larry Mystic is heading north instead of south, so there's the option to look toward New London and Groton. Hard to beat that AAA rate at Comfort Inn. Hope the place is decent.... :o

It's headed toward home for us in New England and it's cheap, so it works.

I just booked it because of that AAA rate - most Comfort Inns are OK - it's just for one night, as long as there are no crawly things :o I'm good to go. Someone let me know if theres a big change of where people are staying. I toyed with just staying at Mohegan but thought better of it!

I almost buy a ticket to a Buffett show for the difference between Mohegan and Comfort Inn.... :o

I'm staying at the MGM at Foxwoods. Anyone else staying there?
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Don't do the Red Roof Inn in New London-I stayed there for the first Mohegan Sun Jimmy show a few years back -not a nice place :o Trust me!!! -I guess the Best Western near Mohegan is a little high?? Very convenient with the limo service though!

Cheapest i could find in the Norwich area was 128.00 at a Comfort Inn....There use to be a Ramada that was cheap...but it looks as if it's gone!!!!....if you are coming from the north i'd recommend something north of Norwich.....if you are coming from NY ....i'd go with East Lyme...Waterford area....Jen Mystic you have to go through unless you come up 2!!

Does Norwich border New London? I remember the motel I said being on the New London/Norwich line and not that far from Norwich.

yes!!!......but i was trying to help them find something that is closer to the direction people are coming from instead of going past Norwich and coming back to Mohegan by 10 to 20 miles....that way when they leave in the AM they are closer to home....instead of doing 80 miles down and back i'd assume twice...check in.....i was looking to keep it around 20-30 miles....check in on the way continue to Mohegan and at least they are headed in the right direction the next day for home.Thats for people coming from the North......
