I just read this article from The Onion. From my perspective, it's amazing just how accurate this "humor" article is.

Maybe it's because in spite of all the work we do, it's the child in us we really value.

I'm done.
My wife bought me my first IPOD which my daughter will fill with The Beatles and Jimmy Buffett.
I am going out tonight to buy new speakers for my home theater.

Its time for me to escape from all this political junk.

I'll just be like the fool on the hill and watch the world spin around.

If it's any consolation, I'm hoping to be elected head dirty old man. Can I count on your vote? maybe "head" was a poor choice of words
If I vote for you twice, can I get a position in the cabinet? Preferably, the liquor cabinet.

One more thing before I go....

ALL TOGETHER NOW!!!!!!!!!!!

Black and White

The ink is black
The page is white
Together we learn to read and write
The child is black
The child is white
The whole world looks upon the sight
The beautiful sight

And now a child can understand
That this is the law of all the land
All the land

The world is black
The world is white
It turns by day and then by night
The child is black
The child is white
Together they grow to see the light
To see the light

And now at last we plainly see
We'll have a dance of liberty
The world is black
The world is white
It turns by day and then by night
The child is black
The child is white
The whole world looks upon the sight
The beautiful sight

The world is black
The world is white
Tt turns by day and the by night
The child is black
The child is white
Together they grow to see the light
To see the light

Like removing all the "W"s from all the keyboards?

All that stuff turned out to be Fox News Propaganda, like they stole the dishes and other things, don't believe everything you get emailed to you.

Unfortunately it wasn't, cousin worked for Cheney and verified it firsthand.

I'm not sure why your signature picture is using an upside down flag. It implies the country is in distress, which we are not. You are distressed, displeased, or otherwise, but our country is not in distress (and certainly not for the reasons which you are likely implying).

Actually BB it does not mean the country is in distress. It is a distress signal. A boat without communications and in dire need of help could fly the flag upside down correctly without it implying the country is in distress. I disagree with Jackie's use of the image, but if she feels personally in distress, technically she is correct in that usage. As gut turning as it is to me, given that her image is used to express distress over the legally elected President-elect of this country. As though the simple execution of the rights of the citizenry were cause for such distress.
