And, she showed up in Arizona with a prepared speech ... It was McCain's night, not hers ... The thing about having aides put her clothes on their credit cards is just amazing ... I can't imagine the accounting nightmare.

She has no future in the GOP ... Bobby Jindal will clean her clock.

The thing that I don't understand is how the people that prepped her for the debate were not taken to task, she made Dan Quayle look like a member of MENSA. Or was this another example of Gov. Palin going "Rogue".

They said that at least in the case of the Couric interview that she refused prep, guess she thought she could "wing it"

"Revelations from anonymous critics" What *****. If they won't put their name with their "revelations" the "revelations" ain't worth the ink and paper it takes to print them.

That bipartisan cooperation that people were looking for? That went out the window when Rahm Emanuel was named Chief of Staff. He didn't rise to a House party leadership position in 6 years by playing well with others. While the list of possible cabinet members includes some Republicans, the list also includes some very partisan Democrats: Bill Richardson, John Kerry, Tom Daschle, Howard Dean, Ken Salazar...

If you voted for Obama, you also voted to renew Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck and other talk radio shows for another 4 years. They are going to have a lot to talk about.

That's going to get ugly, I think. It's much easier to attack someone in power than defend them. I don't listen, but heard clips of their Wed. shows on the way home yesterday. They're lacing up the gloves already.

I told someone the other day that I wouldn't be surprised if Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, and the others secretly voted for Obama, just to increase their ratings.

Politicians just want the cushy job and don't care about what their constituents want, they vote the party line and thats it. Another election comes and goes but nothing will change.

re: Sarah Palin ... the story had legs enought for FOX to run it ... and it was part of the discussion on tonight's Larry King ... we've not heard the end of this. The motives are many: they're using her as a pinata; they can't accept responsibility for McCain's loss; or they don't want her to have a future in the GOP. Mistakes were made - blame happens.

This would have never happened with a VP candidate like Kay Bailey Hutchison ... Palin was a mistake ... and we're not done hearing just how big a mistake she was. She didn't get the Hillary vote and she didn't reach out to women. This we know. The rest of it will be discussed for years.

Ya'll can blow all you want against anonymous sources. Where there's smoke there's fire and FOX would have never let their TOP political correspondent break the story if they weren't 100% sure of their background work.

The title of this thread is how do you feel about the election outcome - a lot of negative things are being said about Obama ... one person even posted an upside down flag to show their disappoinment ... major news sources are breaking a significant story about someone who would have been one heartbeat away from the most powerful position in the world.

How is it negative to talk about it?

How is it okay to bash Obama and not give equal time the news about Palin?

Posted: November 6, 2008 10:29 pm

My answer?

Election over.

Done.

Obama won.

Whoever was the 'coulda' been in that 'heartbeat' position doesn't matter now.
