Reckless Kelly

Post by LIPH »

Texas people, or anyone else who might know, is this band any good? They're playing the same place Jake Shimbukuro played last night, it's a triple bill with the Rev. Horton Heat and Nashville Pussy. At least I think that last one is a band and not, well, nver mind ...

I only know a couple of their songs but I figure for $26 it might be worth going.

I've heard that about Reverand Horton Heat. Supposed to be a wild show...

Reckless Kelly is very good. They put on a great live show. Love the new cd. "American Blood" is a great track from the new cd.

Reckless Kelly has some rockin songs! I've seen them a couple/few times and enjoyed them a lot.

Aren't they somehow connected to Micky and the Motorcars?...originally from Boise, Idaho. (Hi, ragtop) Willy of Reckless and Micky Braun of Motorcars are brothers. I think both bands have played in Key West too.

Both bands are based in Austin now I think. Roots rock!!

I think I'd remember doing Kelly Ripa....
