I heard my first Christmas song when I left the office last night. Yesterday was opening day for the Radio City Christmas Show and it's just across the street ...
How I hate this time of year.
The second week of January can't get here soon enough, the big tree and most of the goobers will be gone.

Does "Christmas in the Carribean" count? Other than that I have as of yet, to hear any Christmas music.
I have heard it numerous times at work when I can get them to play Jimmy Buffett. The boss is a great guy and likes Jimmy B. The boss plays quite a variety of music so one can never be sure what one will be hearing.

This will be a year I am NOT looking forward to. We are moving before then. Mollie will admit she knows about Santa (she knew last years I think) abd Jim is an adult. Yeah, the magic is still there but Mom's health is terrible, money's WAY TIGHT, and my little ones are growing up way too fast. So, we will do the traditional things for our family but I am ready for June when I'll be home in Jacksonville...now NEXT Christmas will ROCK!
"Mommy, when is Jimmy Buffett coming to OUR house? We go see him ALL THE TIME??" (Actual quote from my 5 y/o keet)

When I'm Queen it will be against the Law of Good Taste to display any Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukah or Winter Solstice decorations or play holiday music before the day after Thanksgiving. Stores will not be allowed to stock or sell any holiday related products before then, and if they have a sale before Thanksgiving it will be called a Thanksgiving Sale.

so far the only sign of Christmas I have seen are some decorations at the pharmacy.
I think I'm going to give my "Christmas Gumbo" cd a warm-up spin soon. I love that disk.

I haven't started Christmas music yet this year and haven't heard any, but I guess it's about high time.
