I make the best whole grain pancakes with flax seed and pecans, served with real maple syrup. Yum, they're filling and don't leave you with the white flour sugar hang over. If there was only one food I could have the rest of my life it would be pancakes.

I love this photo!!! It is a wonderful statement, by the way I do think I shall consume some pancakes for breakfast this morning.
I like mine with apple butter.....
Mmmmm.... Yummy..... Or with real maple syrup.....

I see IHOP in my near future. :D
We have a local breakfast spot that serves pancakes the size of hubcaps....they're good.....

At the risk of offending VT parrotheads....I don't like the flavor of maple....so I get creative with pancakes and waffles.....

I actually prefer waffles, esp if they're crispy.

anything else you would like to know about my breakfast eating habits?
And scones.. I know you like Scones..

Intro to SOASOAS:

For those of you who sailed up the Thames River out there today...hey, atleast I know the name of the river. Sarah Palin thought Africa was a country. :::Drums::: She'd a been f"in great...yeah...

so anyone who navigated up the Thames River through the fog to the Mohegan Sun Casino, it has been known to happen...

I actually flew my seaplane by here a couple weeks ago...right, Stan? Np, I wasn't that low...no, it wasn't a Jamaica Mistaica, no, it was a Connecticut Carnival or something like that.

So, here's a song for all you sailor types who have your boats in sheds at this point of the year..OK

The gospel according to Cal Naughton Jr.:

I picture baby Jesus as a kind of changling, like that guy Manimal on TV.

I picture baby Jesus as a dirty old bum. You walk by him and when he asks you for change you want to hit him, but you think: "Man, I better not. It might be Jesus."

And he made the comments about knowing the name of the river because people were yelling and giving him crap because he pronounced "Thames" wrong, at least for Connecticut. He pronounced it "Tems" like the river in England. In Conn, it's pronounced with a soft "th" and a long "a", just like it looks: "Thames".....
