what, Brad, no healing prayers for Ann?

Moonie if you've got something to say why don't you just come out and say it. I have already "disappointed" so many on this board I guess you can add your name to the list.
Perhaps you should also have a list for those that you haven't disappointed.
I'll go on that one....!
Especially if he says
Asshat again...

Add me to the second list.

I did, Brad, as politely as I could.
I thought this was the season for
good will towards men, or women, as this case would be....
disappointed? no not really, to each his own.

Jesus F'ing Christ, you people can be sick & twisted sometimes.
And when Ted Kennedy FINALLY kicks the bucket, and I get on here sand say "IT'S ABOUT TIME," we'll see what kind of response I get.

Isn't that a matter of perspective. for example I believe in capitol punishment and know some people think I'm sick and twisted because of it. You're for capital punishment too aren't you?

So let me get this straight? Kennedy dies, there's a Sail on thread where people are paying their
respects for the dead and you are already planning in advance to do this. Thanks for the warning.

I AM for Capital punishmen, yes.
And I'll be the first to admit I'm usually one to go against the grain most of the time.
My only advice to you would be to ask the people who think you're "sick & twisted" for believing in capital punishment how they'd feel if they were (God forbid) attending the murder trial of the suspect who murdered one of their loved ones.
Capital punishment WORKS. Kill the killer and he/she never does it again.

When he does go (unless I beat him to the punch), unlike what a few people here did when Jesse Helms and Leona Helmsly died, I'll simply NOT POST on the "sail on" thread.

I LOVE her.
As much as I love Sarah Palin, I've said repeatedly that I wish John McCain would've chosen Ann Coulter, Judge Judy, or Dr. Laura as his running mate.
But even if I DIDN'T like any of those women, this type of thread really has no place here. Especially at this time of year.
I'd LIKE to think we're better than that.

It just so happens I know people in that situation in my son's paternal family that are against capital punishment in the murder of 2 family members.
Thank you for the clarification on issue 2

If your relatives (or, rather, your son's relatives, I guess) can forgive the a-holes that murdered their family members, I'll be the first to shout from the mountain that they (your son's relatives) are better people than I'll ever be.
Thank you for the clarification on issue 2
I think I meant to say "WHAT IF", followed by the rest of my post.
It's clear I'm not thinking very clearly right now because of some other things going on at work.
Again, I'd show my indifference simply by not posting there whenever it happens.

if we're all better than that we wouldn't be saying some of the things said in this thread in where a minister is posting. At least that was the way I was raised - must be a southern thing.

When Garry posts in bad words or all caps, I worry about his blood pressure.....

The thing is, we are ALL better people than that, and I have no doubt were raised just fine, whether a minister from the south, a mechanic from the east, or a farmer from the midwest.
Nothing wrong with yanking each other's chain from time to time, hell, I LIVE to do that.
But to SERIOUSY wish grave harm to another human simply for SAYING something that we disagree with doesn't fit the mold of what we're made of.

Thanks for your concern, but I just had my annual physical last week, and (unfortunately for some people here), my EKG was perfect, and my blood pressure was that of a teen ager.

I truly believe that Brad is one of the most thoughtful preachers and men I've ever known.
I know there are a lot of folks who do not like Ann Coulter, and there are some who do.
I also feel that 'cheering on' someone's illness or injury is somewhat unsettling to me, personally.
Best to say nothing at all, as my mom would say.
At the request of Connie.. understandably so.
