Man, who knew Baja Oklahomans (Texicans) could whine so loudly -- sounds like somebody's got a bunch of stinkin' sheep penned up down below the Red these days.
Yeah, yeah, so Texas beat OU in October. Well, Texas Tech beat Texas in November, so if you're going to only use head to head matchups as the criteria for selecting the Big 12 south champion, shouldn't Tech get in ahead of UT?
Face it -- how you feel about this depends on your bias. Texas knew the criteria for selecting the Big 12 championship game participants long before the season started, and if the situation favored them, you would hear no complaining at all, only a chorous of "Get over it, Okies!" wafting up from Gen. Sherman's "Hell". And sure, if OU had been passed over, you'd hear Okies whining. But they weren't, they're going to Kansas City, and that's that. It is what it is.
Now, if Big Game Bob can just get his lads to take care o'bidness for two more games....
Whining replaces football as the #1 sport in Baja Oklahoma.
