So what is your favorite choice of ale to sip round the old Christmas tree? I picked up a sixer of Anchor Brewing Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Ale and it is great!

There's a beer called Winterbock that is brewed by my local GB that's pretty good...

But I warn you you can only drink one, MAYBE two (and this is from someone that can drink about 5 or 6 Miller Lites and not feel any kind of buzz, but I'm not sure if that is any kind of accomplishment...)

I like the Anchor a lot. I gave my brother in law a magnum of it yesterday for his birthday.

Even better then the Anchor is the Great Lakes Christmas Ale. Fabulous

I try a bunch of different ones, over the course of the holiday season. After six or seven, I seem to have trouble remembering what I drank...

Oh there are so many, and I really mean that. However, Mad Elf from Troeg's Brewery is my favorite that I have had so far this year.

It's not an ale for me either, chilly nights B&B, chilly mornings Bailey's , a good Cabernet all afternoon
