I am so sorry to hear about this event, more over what Jessica lost. My grandparents (years ago) were in Atlantic City and for WHATEVER reason she had my great-grandmothers diamond ring, well their luggage was stolen and of course the ring was in there. Note, always be sure you door is pulled shut when you walk away.

I have all my good jewlery locked in a safe - not easy to find and not easy to take.

That door bell ring I am sure was a scout. Like everyone has said, check the pawnshops, near your apartment and where that school was to be. Best of luck in getting anything back.

Hope you find the stuff at a pawn shop, that would be great, esp the sentimental items.
