"Dr. Cowher, please report to Mr. Jones' office to pick up a very large check and the keys to America's Team..

Um, and bring your heart transplant tools -- you're gonna need 'em with this bunch!"

If anybody can get that bunch in Dallas winning again, it would be Cowher. But for now, he seems pretty happy as a pre-game commentator on Sundays......depends on how many zeroes Mr. Jones writes on that check! [smilie=nod.gif]

I think that he would have to get very unhappy with that commentator gig to accept an offer from Dallas.

Gotta agree with Santa.....easier to raise a family when you just work a couple days a week and make as much as if you coached 365 days a year.

Rumor in Big D is that Bill is VERY interested in coaching the Cowboys, that preliminary discussions may have already taken place, and the price tag might be 5 years and $40,000,000.

Why would he want to coach the Cowboys? Because the team is talent-laden and if you win the Super Bowl with America's Team, you are GOD forever.

I missed Jimmy Johnson Day at Texas Stadium this season, and the Barry Switzer Parade - right up Tom Landry Street and onto the field.

Bill Cower will become the Cowboys coach the same day my 80-year old mother becomes coach of the Detroit Lions.

Mom knows enough about football not to take either of those jobs.

Make no mistake, Jimmy IS God in the eyes of Cowboys' fans. And if Barry isn't, it's because he's preceived as winning with Jimmy's team. Bill Cowher would not have that perception.

And Barry IS God here in Oklahoma!

She'd take the Detroit job simply because they're having nicer weather there than we are here.

All right Chiefs lost again, Bill come home where you was our 1989 defensive coordinator and KC loves you!!! The Hunt's will pay you a lot of money and we have a team that is going to get better. They are just very young.....

If not, PLEASE do not go to Dallas!

Sorry - Landry is God.

Jimmy - maybe God Jr.

Barry - not any of the people I went to watching parties or games with liked him at all even though they did win Superbowl XXX. Probably that Texas/OU thing.
