Rule 11 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure allows the court to impose sanctions, including awarding attorney fees and court costs, to the other side if a suit is found to be frivolous. Not "every lawyer in the country would lobby against this", but you can be sure a large percentage of the plaintiff's bar (of which I am not a part) would.
