Blue Man Group Vegas

So has anyone here gone to see the Blue Man Group in Vegas? I'm headed to Vegas in a couple of weeks for a birthday and the birthday girl wants to see it. Do you think it sells out? Tickets are kind of pricey, but the website says that on day of show if you have a college ID you can get tickets for only $32 instead of $100. It's not like it's Jimmy Buffett, so $100 seems a bit excessive.

$32 is very reasonable for a top rate show.

In the past year I know alone that Penn and Teller were around $80.
Tony & Tina was around $90
Love is still hovering around $150.

I saw BLUE MAN GROUP in Vegas about, I don't know, six years ago(?) when it was at THE LUXOR.

I had no idea what to expect.

We showed up 30 minutes before the show and started drinking at the bar right near the entrance to the show.

Two Top Shelf Double Long Island Iced Teas to the wind, we went into the venue only to find another bar before we took our seats.

Now, with a 3rd Long Island ready in hand, we went into the venue feeling no pain.

The show started and turned out pretty great overall! Definitely trippy and the sound at that particular venue was outstanding.

Without spoiling anything, there is a section where the crowd gets involved in a way you don't expect. I still remember us laughing non-stop for about five minutes during that particular experience.

32 bucks is a steal if you can get it. Again, a long time ago, the show was selling out regularly.

Depends on when you're going as to whether or not tickets will be in demand or not (see what conventions are in town and call on occasion to the venue box office to get their take).

Cirque De Soleil's "O" Show at the Bellagio is still surprisingly one of the best shows I've ever seen.

There's my 2 cents. You'll have to chime back in after your trip.

I enjoyed the Blue Man in Vegas (Luxor) I liked it better in NYC. The vegas theater was too large but still worth seeing.

You might want to wear some of your old clothes rather than your nicest outfit. It looks like the RUSH or Student seats might be in the Poncho Zone. Not that that is a bad thing, just that you might get some of the colored liquids on you. They do provide a poncho to you.

Have Fun.

We saw them in New York a few years ago. Fun show!!!!

I think it said on the website that the $32.50 tickets are only available until Jan. 12th.
