AFC Wild Card game 1
Time for the NFL playoff poll.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
Life is short, live long!!

I think the Chargers are too hot right now to lose.

I'll take Indy here...the Bolts have a knack for choking in the post season even when they have the better team.

Indy... In this game I have to go with the hot hand (i.e. Peyton Manning).... Should be interesting to see if Rivers can get through a playoff game without making too many interceptions...

Re: AFC Wild Card game 1
This will be one of the better playoff games IMO. The winner of this one (both very hot teams right now), might even go all the way.
I'm picking the Colts, but I imagine it will be a close game.

The Bolts have had Payton's number over the past 5 years. I cannot see the Colts coming into San Diego and beating the Chargers twice in prime-time in one year. It took a bonehead time out call to beat them when they were playing bad. Chargers are clicking for the first time all year. Chargers 35, Colts 30

COLTS.
They've been on fire for the past month or so, and San Diego did nothing more than back into the playoffs.
But if there's an upset in any of the four games this weekend, I'd guess this would be the one.

Well, the Chargers won the whole month of December. Please elaborate on how they backed in. Note that I am not a Chargers fan, I just want to know your reasoning that is all.Wino you know wrote:COLTS.

So the Chargers won in December.
The Colts also won in December.
And November.
And October.
And September.
And they'll win in January.

I was hoping this thread would sink into oblivion.
I guess not, thanks to you two.
But if you remember, when the season started, I picked the Chargers to be in the Super Bowl.
Not that it's any place for an 8-8 team, but that's what I predicted.
And tomorrow I'll order my t-shirt that says
PAYTON F'ING MANNING-PUNK DELUXE!
