Yep. Car Rental charges and hotel bed taxes... a nice easy way to raise revenue without irritating local residents with bond issues, levies, and increasing sales/income taxes. Just hit the folks coming in from outside the jurisdiction.

from Columbus OH: (Using the full-size car z-man used for his example)
1 Day @ $ 43.41 USD $ 43.41 USD
CONSOLIDATED FACILITY CHARGE $ 3.85 USD
VEHICLE LICENSING FEE $ 0.26 USD
GARAGE RECOUPMENT SURCHARGE $ 3.46 USD
Subtotal $ 50.98 USD
AIRPORT ACCESS FEE $ 4.80 USD
SALES TAX $ 3.76 USD
* Total Estimated Charges $ 59.54 USD

or about 37% of the base rate in additional taxes

My daughter's friends have asked if they could come with us to KW. My keet just looks at them :roll: and hopes we stop making DDs to her while she's at work...... :D

We just booked out trip to Key West from Nov. 5th -8th and I didn't even realize that is when MOTM is happening. We are starting off in KW then driving to Walt Disney World for another couple of days. I am so excited to see KW and to be there for my first MOTM. We haven't been to KW since 2001. I think it will be fun seeing the bands play at MOTM and there is a Margaritaville street party on Friday. Looking forward to seeing my fellow BN'ers there.

The Margaritaville Street Fest is on Friday. You'll have lots of fun at MOTM. The Trop Rock bands and singers are wonderful.

He did that to me a couple of years ago! Scared me, being an old lady with back trouble. :o
So R2, dear, please do not do that again, OK? I don't want an ER visit! Remember, gentle hugs..
