I've seen Ratdog and Phil & Friends, but never any configuration of the Grateful Dead/Other Ones/The Dead. I might go check them out in Worcester though.

Man......! I love Mickey Hart's percussion. I sure wish they were coming down south, like somewhere between Tallahassee and New Orleans. They would have been a great TBA band at the second weekend of Jazz Fest in NOLA, but it looks like they are booked.

Haven't seen them since Jerry died--always figured just wouldn't be the same. But they're playing ten minutes from my house.

Good news to me!

I saw "THE DEAD" during their last tour four years ago at Red Rocks.

They SOLD OUT SIX SHOWS (6 Shows in 7 Days!) at Red Rocks.

Truly memorable and amazing and as close to THE GRATEFUL DEAD as I'll ever get.

Joan Osbourne suprised me by filling in nicely (no replacing Garcia, of course).

Pro: They're coming back to the Mile High City
Con: They're playing THE CAN instead of RED ROCKS

Working my brother's connection for possible free tickets
Will chime back in later when/if I go.

ohmygod... that pace... how is it possible? That's like.. 3 weeks worth of work for some artists...

and Joan is good. Really liked seeing her do some cover work in "Standing in the Shadows of Motown"

i was gonna catch a show until I saw the prices. Nothing but greed on their part. Jerry's probably rolled over in his grave so much that coffin is stuck upside down.
a few years back Bob Weir was quoted as saying he has kids to put through college, well, nice to know Bob, things sure have changed haven't they?

that's nuts, but I guess you do get finger foods and a T-shirt that makes it all better - nothing like a good finger food to erase all the good memories I once had of the band.

This band shouldn't be confused with "The Grateful Dead".

Regarding ticket prices, the fan in this article was none too happy about them (NSFW):
