I kissed a girl and I liked it
The taste of her cherry chapstick
I kissed a girl just to try it
I hope my boyfriend don't mind it
It felt so wrong
It felt so right
Don't mean I'm in love tonight
I kissed a girl and I liked it
I liked it
you may be right, but i live in a small town and don't get out much

I think I know 1 song and 3 of these artists.
Ditto for me. I guess I'm officially middle-aged now.
See, I have a middle-schooler so in order to keep up with all that she listens to, I probably know enough to keep her from listening to most of that.
So, did you check to see if she had cherry chapstick?
Chapstick is not a gluten-free friendly brand so she NEVER has chapstick.

And I have to say, I agree with the sentiment of the song. I like it when I kiss girls too. Whether or not they use cherry chapstick.

I also have a 25 year-old daughter and nieces in their late teens/early 20s. I know all these songs except Lil Wayne.

I've got 3 of them on my iPod. Mainly for the same reason LIPH said, two of them were free downloads on iTunes through Starbucks.

There is a world outside of Radio Margaritaville. Not that that says much for pop music today. I know I'm not much into it myself but I am very into current artists, the majority of them just don't get a lot of mainstream airplay. They do get exposure on progressive radio stations, internet radio and satellite radio though, Clear Channel be damned.

I guess I'm the opposite, "Low" by Flo Rida, is the only song on that list I know and have downloaded!(Good beat for running lights/sirens to a call!!)
