The Parrot Dice Lounge kinda like a mirage. Here today and gone tomorrow. You should stop by and say hello when visiting Chicago on tour.

So is everyone still thinking the 25th of July for the rumored date? Or has anyone heard for sure? Running late this year for checking into Alpine1

I'm looking at your schedule, and I'm not seeing any east coast destinations on it. I'm just saying......

With a little research I think its important to note:

There are no guarantees of an Alpine/Chicago Bookend week. This has recently only happened in 2000, 2007, and 2008.
(I stopped at going back to 2000)

2001 - About 3 months between shows
2002 - About 2 months between shows
2003 - About 2 months between shows
2004 - About 1.5 months between shows
2005 - No Alpine
2006 - About 2 months between shows

SO that being said I personally would be closer to getting 2 shows out of a spaced out visit just drying out in time for the next show.

Only Jimmy's Mgmt knows for sure.

Friend just called me. He books for Live Nation. Buffett confirmed August 29th.
Alpine Resort does have rooms left!

Wow.. thats a new one.. your source pretty solid?
Could it be he's doing Chicago earlier, then hitting Alpine the second time around?

It's right near Detroit... Might be feasible...

I could not believe it either. This is my 12th show at Alpine and is does not fit any previous scheduling, however it does fit logically into Toyota Park which just got confirmed as well. I had booked rooms for the July 25 weekend and just made the switch. That is how confident I am.

I'm going to chalk this date up to rumor until we get something confirmed. 8/29? Really? That would be the latest he's ever done the Wisconsin show...Alpine or Summerfest.

Captain..I agree very off standard operation procedure.

Stay close though as my buddy says Toyota Park is confirmed for mid August. as well so they may all be released soon.

Just trying to add to KNOWLEDGE I have gained form this site after som many years.

....Trying to reason with pre-concert season.

Doesn't it get down to like 20 degrees in late August in Wisconsin?

July 25th was going to be perfect (besides the fact I already booked 3 suites for that weekend). It was the magical weekend that was going to allow all 16 people of our regular crew to go. Now if it is August 29th, it cuts our group in half without even asking anyone, due to some of them being teachers and most of them having their kids in school sports.

I guess we will just deal with it the same way people who couldn't make it on July 25th are dealing with....either go, or don't go....just really disappointed
If I had it all to do over again,
I'd just get myself drunk and I'd jump right back in!!!

Yeah. But in July it at least hits 30 on most days.
