Oh Great, Labor Day Weekend in Alpine :roll: :cry:
(I can't even think about how hard it's going to be to get rooms around there, even if you're NOT going to the concert...)

Edit... Never mind, just realized August has 31 days :oops: So Labor day would be NEXT weekend...

That said... TP on Labor Day weekend might just happen then....

Edit... Never mind that one... It's going to be the 8th and 15th of August....

(Of course would that make the 25th of July more of a possibility for Alpine????)

If you are betting the date on your ability to get a room at Alpine or in E. Troy,

book for the 29th.

I have mentioned that my source is live nation bookining agent for JB shows.

Last year I booked my room on Feb.24 and was 13th on waiting list.

We got in as we always do but it is more fun too know you are all set.

Look for us with the gas cans filled with PARROT HEAD PHUEL!

I don't like to brag, but I was second on the list last year at Alpine. I've actually done quite well the last few years(since Domino College) at Alpine. I'm banking on the 29th. If not, then I'll sleep in my car on highway D after the show, but I'll be there.

Aug 29 would be great.. just wish they'd confirm already! LOL.. Usually Alpine and Chicago get announced at the same time.. hopefully it will be soon!

Ok, I don't know the date yet, but I do know that it is in August for sure. I talked with my contact at Live Nation and he said they were told it will be in August, but they don't have a date yet. Maybe the Aug 29th date is for real. Seems like it may be a little chilly that time of year, but I will go regardless.

On one of the other threads it said that Radio Margaritaville made the announcement. Could be a rumor, but fingers crossed.

BTW .. Rkoener.. did we meet a few years back at Alpine looking for other BN'ers?
