MDB,
If FFF#3 doesn't come off, AND there is a concert at PHP this year, you better believe that COPA will have another Phrisco Phiasco in phull phorce!!!

I'm so confused, and it's only January.
by April, I will have 30 hours of vacation in the bank..... enough to take a couple of days off for a texas tour
and other days for the rest of turning 40 tour

I must say I love me my DVD I got of last year. I did not attend, but anytime I need a pick me up, or if I have a few mins while eating or something, I pop that in and its instant fun with a bunch of good people at the Buffett concert. I really do love it.

I have 17 vacation days accrued and by April I'll have 5 more. Maybe I'll spend more than just a weekend in Texas this year

There is no reason the FFF tradition should not continue. It will need to be strictly BYOB, and I could use some more help with the logistics this year - coordinating the contributions, mailing out stuff, etc. If anyone is willing to step up for a key role, please let me know what you can do.
For what it's worth -- There's a brand new Comfort Suites at Pizza Hut Park, within 200 yards of our tailgate spot. (It's further to walk to the soccer stadium than it is to the hotel). I called today, and they are completely full the night of 4/25. I asked to be notified if any rooms become available, so we'll see. They did not confirm the concert date, and they did not know of any large group bookings. No other dates are sold out that I found - just that one.

The April 26 date is from 2008 - still says so on that page.
So far, Pharmgirl has agreed to handle the payments and accounting.
PharmBoy will help out with getting stuff to the tailgate.
Springparrot will handle the mailings.
RagtopW will stay on the Spain's to bring their asses.
That's a pretty good start...
