Not bad? I had seats in the 10th row for Plant and Krauss over the summer that cost roughly $80 after service charges. That's what I'd consider "not bad".
Well good for you Mr musical expert!
You're talking apples and oranges!!!

My ticket cost $185.00 total.
The prices I posted for the Moline venue is the total cost. It's what they call a "FEE FREE EVENT."
Anyway, my ticket cost me $185.00.
PLEASE don't tell Jimmy.

Ahhhh.... Thanks for that reminder Garry! And, I won't tell Jimmy.
I remember now, charges were FREE if ya bought the "print at home" tickets, but this one cost more if ya wanted the printed tickets mailed to ya. It was just a couple of bucks more if I recall, but I wanted to check out the free thing!

Thanks, David.
If Jimmy knows I'm willing to pay $185.00 to see the Eagles, he'd get the idea I'd be willing to pay $185.01 to see HIM. (And he'd probably be right, BUT............................).
I could've had the ticket FedExed to my house for a fee, or pick it up at the venue for free.
I actually picked it up at a T/M outlet here for $1.00, so, I guess, I actually paid $186.00.
DEFINATELY don't tell Jimmy.

I wasn't referring to the artists but the price. Unless you're made of money I'd say $140 is too much to pay to see anyone. I also definitely wouldn't consider it any kind of "deal".

You've GOT to come to the Quad Cities, Johnny.
This is the EAGLES we're talking about. The EAGLE Eagles, not a bunch of stand-ins like the Beach Boys or C.C.R.
And I'm sure I'll see you SOMEWHERE this summer.
We're trying to get you guys booked for another of our Uptown Friday Night events.
My people will be in touch with your people.
See you in Moline!

Just for the record, there isn't a band called Creedence Clearwater Revival that's currently touring. There is a band called Creedence Clearwater Revisited though that includes two original members of Creedence Clearwater Revival. I agree though, no John Fogerty, no Creedence Clearwater Revival. Unless, of course you were referring to Cross Canadian Ragweed...

You're absolutely correct.
Of the four original members, Doug Clifford and Stu Cook tour with three or four other musicians under the name "CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVISITED", as you stated, John Fogerhty tours and records on his own (and does very well), and the fourth member, rythym guitarist Tom Fogerhty, passed away in the early 90's.

Here is a photo of Steuart Smith. He's a fascinating guitarist. I remember seeing him when he toured with Dar Williams. He also played with Rodney Crowell and the Cicadas and has played on several of Mac McAnally's albums.
Watch these with Rodney.
And with Shawn Colvin at Lilith Fair
OK, back to the Eagles. Wish I could make it to see them yet.
Did He replace Felder??
