We had it all,
first wind, then rain, then ice pellets, then more rain, then thunderstorms w/ real hail,
I just sat back, tuned in the tailgate on RM, and checked out the setlist thread.
Didn't know anybody there!
Saw it was Chip's birthday though.
Sounds like he'll be in Tampa.
Anybody else from here going to the Gulf this weekend?
Wrong week to go, we're looking at 80F Saturday in Detroit!
It's tough to just SIT here & wait patiently for Lawn tix to fall into my lap. If the wife was onboard with spendin' the cheese to get the pavilion seats I wouldn't be sweatin' it so much!
Corona by day, Corona by night, any old time is just alright!
The weekend forecast is 26 or 27 degrees C (that's in the 80s F I think) so we will all feel like we're in the tropics.
(It's about what it was in Jamaica a couple of weeks ago.)
Hopefully, we'll have that kind of temp in August!

They're saying 80F here this weekend, too! I cannot wait!
Make sure you get out tomorrow.
They're already toning down Sunday's forcast to the low seventies.
Still not bad though.
High seventies today, but very windy.
Still in the fifties right now, I'll get out by noon though.
Now the're adding rain to the Sunday morning and mid-day forcast.
I gotta stop listening to weather on the eights,
as this time of year the forcast really does change every eight minutes.
it was splendid here in Flint until about 2 when the storms rolled in (WHAT??????? I was planning to eat outside tonite.... ). Now it's mid 60s with more storms on their way. Mid 50's tomorrow they are saying. I'm really getting irritated with the weather dudes here......
well, ummmmmmm, yah, I guess I better come up with something witty to put in this spot since everyone is reading it.......
OK...looks like Captain Parrothead and I will be coming here instead of Chicago. Got VIRGIN relatives in Grosse Pointe who want to go!! There will be at least 6 of us and possible 8.

What fun time I am coming again will be there with
Amanda (SimplyComplicated) group. Hope to meet you all
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up,totally worn out, and proclaiming,
“Wow, what a ride!!!”
We're bringing two virgins as well as the two virgins that we brought to DTE last year.
At this rate, they're gonna have to expand Pine Knob!
I guess weatherwise Chippawa didn't end up missing too much after all.
At least we still have power.
Clarkston had the most outages around here according to local news,
I assume Pine Knob is dark right now.

I heard there were outages on the other side of the state. we had 80s and heat all weekend long with a few sprinkles. for the most part, it was beautiful.. took the dog to the park. ate steaks and drank a pina colada outside. summer is here early!

Oh god...who?!
Ron and Kelly- I don't think you've met them, but you might have since he used to work with Cory and has met Doc. You'll totally get along. They're PHs who don't know it yet.
