We made it back to Youngstown in one piece...slightly bruised and battered with no clue how the markings got there...but we are still in one piece!

Phine day indeed at the lot last Thursday.
Headed for the Northwoods bright & early Fri. morn so no chance to recap on the Net this past weekend.
Good meeting up with the Youngstown pholks. AJ, Paul & the others. Congrats on making the Big screen! Appreciated the Shot-Ski's. Got my afternoon off to a great start indeed. Can't do a show without a shot of Flock's parrot-p*** & this year was no exception!
Sooooo much going on around the lot it makes it so difficult to track down the other BN'ers. Spotted the Captain with the Flocker & as usual they were holding court amongst a number of Brown-Eyed (or could have been Blue-Eyed) Girls admiring Flock's plastic azz! Did stumble across Pamesoo who was waiting patiently for her hubby to come back with an extra ticket. Hope you guys scored! But never did find the little Red Jeep Liberty housing the Chippewa's or the white Bravada of which MSU/Jason cruised down in.
Gotta laugh at the 4:00 parking lot start time. What was it actually, about 2:20 or so. Oh well, keeps things a little thinned out for awhile.
A bit saddening we didn't get the "special guests" that we had last year, especially Fingers. Kept looking for him side-stage. But with no Fingers, Jake or Sonny Landreth from last year the band took a step back in the "Rock Out" category. Did enjoy the "Nobody from Nowhere" newbie that did rock out.
Had to chuckle, dude sitting next to me showed ZERO emotion the whole show other than when Margaritaville was being played when he seemed to semi-tap his foot. He was solo at the concert & I asked him if he'd seen Buffett before. Said he hadn't seen him in 5 years. I'm thinking, man, you should have plenty of pent up emotions to release then, quit holding back. Girl next to me says, "tell your friend he needs to loosen up". I said, I agree he needs to loosen up but I don't know who the hell he is.
Great time once again, can't wait til next year!

It was perfect tailgating weather last Thursday, and perfect weather for your home beach and the Dream Cruise on Friday, but I would like it a bit cooler for riding my bike to work and back--preferably without thunderstorms.

92 degrees F and only the large terminal ramp (asphalt) open to the public, no grassy areas accessable!
