Hi Everyone! We're officially 2 weeks and 2 days away from the big event! Whooo-hoo! Was wondering if anyone was interested in meeting for a little low-key pre-concert, pre-tailgating get-together on the Wednesday evening before the concert? I know a lot of people are coming from out of town and may be looking for something to do?

Was thinking we could meet at the Bahama Breeze on Wake Forest Road in Raleigh around 7 pm? If you are interested, let me know and I will call and make a reservation if it looks like it will be a big group!

Here's a crazy question. In all my years attending Buffett or any other concert someone has always been sober enough (or so we thought) to drive us home or to a hotel. I have a feeling that may not be the case this year. Some of our friends have kids and haven't been out in a while. Any thoughts on leaving a car in the lot that night and taking a cab to the hotel? Is it easy to get back into the main lot the next day? I figure lots of people do this.

I have been remiss in my tailgate planning activities but back on track for the final count down.

I don't know when the parking lots will open but will try to get a definitive answer this week. Tentative plan to gather about noon at the Burger King on Rock Quarry Road to caravan into the venue.

First draft of phone list was sent tonight via PM. PM/Email if you think you should have received it but didn't. Even if I have your number from another list, I did not add you to the list unless you expressly said "ok". I will send final phone list on Wednesday, April 22.

Early weather reports are calling for showers on Monday and Tuesday for Raleigh and Charlotte. - let's hope the weatherpeople have it wrong. Too far out to see Thursday's forecast - but rain or shine - we will have a great time!!!!!!!!
