Haven't heard from them yet, but I'll send them an e-mail just in case they are on a tropical island and have missed the announcement.

lol.....funny you mention that, Scott. We just got back from the BVIs late yesterday. I got a couple emails giving me a head's up about the dates. We'll try to get our act together and decide what to do. Wish there was a little more notice before tix go on sale but we'll take what we can get. Since both the Carolina dates are weekdays, we'll probably only be able to do one or the other.....still trying to figure out what everyone is planning on doing.

Just a little something interesting. We just missed Jimmy on Anegada by a week this trip. Maybe we will get the timing right one day....sigh. My avatar pic was taken at Cow Wreck Beach and my sig line pic at Loblolly Beach last year. Both are on Anegada.

Greetings!! I don't know if its the best location, but there are a cluster of hotels off Speedway Blvd that were a very short trip from the Pavilion. A lot of us stayed there last year and liked the location. Others might have different opinions on lodging options. Not sure on the RV thing (sorry!)...Hope to see you there!

Thanks! I'm going to call the verizon arena today and ask about the rv lot. I know that when we have done the Orlando shows they make an exception for the buffett shows.

Unfortunately, they have never allowed overnight Rv parking in the past. Maybe you an talk them into it!

just spoke to a CSR @ the venue (verizon) in charlotte... you can park in the RV lot (just not overnight) for $30
Just wanted to pass it on....looks like we will be booking a hotel....any ideas from the locals ...were coming up from FL

Well my preggo mind has gotten the best of me (and my wallet) I think I am going to skip the show. I can't believe I am saying that. I can't for the life of me remember how i was feeling at 32 weeks but I remember I had to keep activity limited..BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Hopefully I will get to do one later in the year like vegas or something.

So what we may do is just come and tailgate with the best group of parrotheads around esp since i don't get to see you all that often.

For those who were at the Raleigh show last year, my buddy Bill helped me cook. We had floor seats in Charlotte (in the now demolished Coliseum), when she was 7 months pregnant. She didn't get to drink, but she had plenty spilled upon her.

Heather, come on out to the tailgate. We'll make sure that you are fed well and get plenty of rest........and we'll make sure that your hubby is well taken care of as well...........might even find him a Juicy Fruit or two!

Anything is good at the Bruton Smith Blvd/Concord Mills Exit.

There's a Hampton Inn, Embassy Suites, Wingate Inn, Sleep Inn, Comfort Suites, Spring Hill Suites.

Knowing the GREAT group of BNers that we have in the Carolinas, I would bet that someone staying in the nearby hotels would help with transportation to and from the venue if you chose to park the RV at the RV resort.
