You might be able to score 25 together, or at least 25 that are close together..... Considering the economy, ticket prices, and the fact that the California shows are very slow to sell out if they even sell out at all.

There's one thing that would probably work, but I bet you won't like it. Depends how much you want to sit together. About ten of us used this trick once in Miami.

Buy your tickets wherever. Then head up as a group to the nosebleeds. If there aren't already 25 empty seats up there (there were, in Miami), offer your better seats to the 25 people in those seats. Betcha they'll trade and you're all together.

25 *good* seats is gonna cost you your first- and second-born from a broker.

Shoot, it isn't necessary to get all 25 seats together to enjoy the concert. Just get them in 5 groups of 5. Or two tens and a five. Or six fours and one.

Tailgate together, get drunk and nobody will know WHO is beside them. Unless they have big balls around their neck (sorry, private joke)

Well.... this has been extremely entertaining... and I thank each of you for your comments and insights. I know it's a pipe dream, but I'm going to keep plugging along until I exhaust all my options. It IS fun no matter where you sit and who you sit by... heck, I've met some great people and look for them each year to hang out and kick back a few.

And I don't know what California he's from that ticket sales are slow....all the shows I've ever been to out here were sold out, and even if it not sold out, getting 25 seats together is still impossible. My first Buffett concert was at the then named Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim and I happened on a pre-sale where I got eight seats in a row. Thought that was normal until the next year when I tried to do the same thing.......Also, it may be Frisco, Texas, but if you're from the Bay Area in California, locals there expect you to call it San Francisco.

Yes, you are correct. I lived there for a year in 1985 and when I said "Frisco", locals would look at me and say, "YOU must be from L. A., with disgust in their voice.

One way but not foolproof attempt to try to get a group of 25 together.

Frisco doesn't sell out right away. I'm also thinking that the ticket limit was 8 because Frisco is so big. Last year they had a presale. If they have a presale this year, wait until about a half an hour/forty-five minutes after the presale begins, when the feeding frenzy for tickets dies down. There should be some sizable blocks of either back floors or full price arena seats that aren't bought. You and six of your friends need to search together communicating with IM or cellphones until two of you get the same section adjacent rows or seats. Get those tickets and have the others keep searching until you get your block or as close as possible. At the concert, if you're close but not close enough, trade seats with those around you. Easy to do if you're not plastered. That's about the best chance you have. Good Luck!
