I bought Newport Folk Festival tix based on the speculation that Jimmy would show, but at least the rest of the line-up is worth the trip !!

The shirt doesn't speak so it doesn't say anything about the October Vegas dates (just trying to lighten the mood a little). There are no dates, just cities, and since he just played Vegas 3 days ago the fact the city is listed doesn't mean he's going to be there in October.

I knew there was something I wanted to do when I got home tonight. I just looked at the shirt, Las Vegas is in sequence for this month - Phoenix, Vegas, Concord, Irvine. The last 5 cities listed, in order, are East Troy (Alpine Valley), Bristow (Nissan), Toronto, Uncasville (Mohegan Sun) and New York (Madison Square Garden). Looks like the October dates were cancelled, or at least put on hold, before the tour t-shirts were even printed.

I guess the t-shirt does speak......Thanks for the info. Being from the NYC area, I am sure happy it looks like those dates are still likely to take place. But if I buy my Metro North train ticket in anticipation of going to the concert (MSG), and it is cancelled I will be very upset....

If Metro North's policy is the same as the LIRR, tickets are only good for 90 days. You have time.

What is the tailgating scene like in Uncasville? I'm from Pittsburgh area where we tailgate in all sorts of weather for the Steelers, but something doesn't feel right tailgating in the cold for a Buffett show.

I'm considering going to this show since the Vegas one I wanted to go to is pretty much gone.

He's played at the arena at Mohegan Sun 3 times (2005-2007) but those shows were in June (twice) and August. Each time the casino set aside one parking lot for the tailgate and it was pretty good. I don't know about an outdoor Buffett tailgate in late November.

Just have to put on your football tailgating outfit, if you have one. Basically a t-shirt, with a sweatshirt, with a fleece, and then since it is a Buffett show your tropical shirt (instead of a football jersey). Dress in layers

Mohegan is back on the schedule at margaritaville for 11/21. Good thing I didn't cancel that room.

I've got a tent and a deck heater for the party!

Well now that I see there is an Orlando date on the schedule right before this one, I may opt to go south for the warmer weather for tailgating purposes! hah
