1st Timer Concert Goer

First timer here too. Wanted to see Jimmy back when he did "free" concerts at Summerfest in Milwaukee back in the '80s, but didn't have a car I could depend on to get me there and back! And once I did, he stopped the freebies --and I couldn't afford/couldn't get my hands on the tickets for anywhere else. Oh well .

Looking forward to seeing Jimmy sometime this summer. Gonna try to catch Alpine Valley (it's closest to my home location), and maybe one of the shows in Chicago .

BTW -- can anyone on this board here give me suggestions on how to get tickets without getting totally screwed by the scalpers/ticket brokers?? I know, try to win some from a radio promo, but we're not close enough that *THAT'S* gonna happen!
