Tonight when they announced the Cincy concert on the 10pm news, they showed some tailgaters and sure enough up came a full screen pic of Marnin Grita Guy drinking out of his big o Margarita Glass. Congrats to Barry, you are now in the news arcives.

Cinci, Alpine and, Great Woods are my three favorites. I prefer Great Woods (and I have said this for years and promised myself I wouldn't get involved in thread wars any more . . .

Nothing beats Nantucket and the Chicken Box and surfing at Cisco Beach or the Vineyard with Katama and sailing back in forth between the two islands or up to Newport or the the Beachcomber out in Wellfleet (www.thebeachcomber.com - - best bar EVER!) and the Maine Coast and all the other places that made Jimmy Buffett move here and spend his summers here years ago. New England in the summer makes Great Woods my "Super Bowl" of Buffett as another Buffettnewser so aptly put it once.

ANYWHERE JB plays he special. But after the show when you guys sit by your river and Huck Finn your days away (wrong river, I know - but still . . .

) and take road trips to Cleveland or whatever it is you do out there for fun out there I will be down the south shores of Nantucket making fun of Jimmy's sea plane and casting off for some striper with some rich Harvard girl waiting for my in my Jeep - that is still stuck in the dune . . . and I am no longer a resident of Nantucket! That Jeep is like my shakur of salt . . . how metaphoric.
