A day or two ago Margaritaville directed buyers for Pittsburgh tickets to Live Nation. Yesterday afternoon the link took you to TM. Today it sends you back to LiveNation again. And the link here on Buffett News for tickets is for TM. Anyone know the real scoop? My gut is telling me to stick with TM. What are you all thinking?

I would long on to Ticketmaster first....or have the other up and try TM....I'm going to bet LN will not have it together on Monday!
I found a pretty good deal at the Comfort Inn near the Pittsburgh airport(Oakdale, PA)- It shows that it's about 11-12 miles from the venue. Does that sound correct milage wise? Anyone heard anything about it?? Would traffic be better that night heading towards Wierton?
Thanks all!

Laura will have to anser the Wierton question....
trick is getting out of the lot, either leave at the end of the first encore....or wait about 30 mins in the lot after the concert. Once on 22 you can move well.
I'm not sure where the Comfort Inn is, I would have to look. Oakdale is on/just off 22
Comfort inn is about 13 miles from starlake. There is a Hyatt Place about one mile from the comfort inn in Robinson that is nice too. Getting out of the lot is the key, It doesn't matter what direction you are heading once your out.
If you Click on the signature below (Pittsburgh) it will take you to the webpage I have up...as I did last year. There should be instructions about using www.switchboard.com to locate a hotel that is closest and from there you can work on which is a better price.
West Virginia is about 20 mins or less! West on 22 or is it South...no matter it is close, then you have Zainesville OH, across the river. There are many options.
I'm staying at least one night at the Holiday Inn Express with the Steel City PH - they have GREAT pre-concert party!

I honestly thought the airport was a bit further away...... I like the Holiday Inn Weirton the best because it is so close. Once you do get out of the lot it is smooth sailing back to the hotel.....
I am holding a bunch of rooms, but I do not think that I am going to need all of them....so if someone wants a room at the Holiday Inn let me know. For the night of the 22nd it was $109.99 plus tax, and the night of the 23rd it was $159.99 plus tax..... a little high, but I like staying there the best.
Mornin' All. Just wanted to let you know that the Steel City Fins are in the process of planning a pre-concert party, but we are not confirmed for a location yet. We will let you know ASAP.
Good morning, everyone! Happy Jimmy Buffett ticket day. Good luck to you all! I'm trying ticketmaster by phone and website...hopefully something goes right for me this year.

Our crew also got all the lawn tickets we needed, whew. I can't believe I'm saying this, but thank you Live Nation for making arrangements with Ticketmaster to handle JB ticketing - at least for the Pittsburgh show!
Our group ended up getting 17 lawn tickets! Not sure if we have 17 people going yet...but, we'll get it figured out by June 23rd.
I'm glad I got tickets easily this year becuase now I won't have to spend extra time and money on trying to find the appropriate amount of tickets. But, I have to wonder...why was it so easy? It seems like everyone who wanted tickets go them...which normally isn't the case. Any ideas?

Ummm...economy?
Still plenty of pavillion tickets available, too. Wanna bet you can get a ticket under face come June?
