for those of you who remember when the remodel was done, you may also remember that management had jimmy in mind as well as a few others. i think jimmy felt like the stage was too small. i was also at that sunday afternoon show, altho i didn't get in because i had my wife and son in tow, and could not find anyone with 3 tix together. also from san jose, concord is tough to get to in any kind of traffic. but of course, where this a will, there is a way.

I'm going to take a spin around the area on saturday and see what bars would work. I have an idea about Rocco's Pizza. Good bar and there is room and I beleive they can have a band. It's about a ten minute drive to the pavillion from there.

I am still trying to figure out a way to make this show work, since I plan on being out there in May anyhow. If only a new vendor was not taking over the contract in April. I have got to do some brainstorming.

I have not lived out there for years but from what I remember there really isn't anything close in the way of bars.

Okay I scoped out a couple of places that will work for a pre-party. I found on place right down the road from the Pavillion that kind of reminds me of the old Ricardos at the MGM. They do not understand who Jimmy is but we have a couple of months to educate them. Nice bar and plenty of room with lots of parking.

Woo Hoo! 2 on the lawn. Remember the lawn at Concord is pretty small so get your tix soon. Decided against trying to get the VIP tix cause the fun budget is going to Waikiki!
