I need my Parrot Dice Lounge fix, it's been a year and a half now.
We could set up a staging area at my place, you come after the first Chicago show,
make your inaugeral appearence with the lounge at the 'Knob, and return ready to REALLY rock the Windy City for the second tailgate.

Why the screen name change!?

No can do Detroit. Too much to lug around. Alpine is a financial concern as they rake you for those commercial van rentals . . . .

THE PARROTDICE LOUNGE WILL BE ACCEPTING RESERVATIONS FOR 8/15. We're putting a band back together and hopefully hauling out a foam machine. No reason not to make Margarita-Vision 2 years in a row! This year we're thinking breakfast in the lot!

Why the screen name change!?

Got caught dumping sand in the DTE lot last June.
Sherriff wrote me a ticket, I tore it up on the spot.
They tried to haul me off to jail, but my longboard was just a bit too fast for 'em.
On my way to Toyota Park they finaly caught up with me.
Little did I know, a roadblock was set up on I-94 Westbound.
Had Chippawa tipped me off, I would have been safe.
But Noooooooooooo, after passing through it did they send me a warning?
Turned out they tried, but I had never gotten on the cell phone list .
Oh well, you live and learn.
Long story short, I had to head to the Islands to escape the long arm of the Feds once I had crossed State lines.
I had it made deep undercover in the Carribean, till the FBI
confiscated Penny's hard drive.
They decided to let me go with just a warning this time,
so I took a few months off and then re-surfaced under this alias.
That's my story and I'm stick'n to it.

Naw, maybe not .
Real life isn't as exciting as that.
I took 6 months off BN for other reasons (bore yourself w/ the details enumerated in the Detroit thread),
and when I came back this week my old name and password wouldn't work.
I tried having my password e-mailed to me, but BN didn't recognize my name.
I assumed that I just had the " ' " in the wrong spot, but it was right.
It was faster to just start from scratch w/ a new name.

We won't make it to Chicago this year, but maybe our formerly "Lincoln Park" but currently Downtown and ENGAGED daughter will!

Good luck w/ the lounge plans, I will definatly check in occasionaly here to see what's up w/ Y'all.

In 12 years I have never seen JB at Alpine other than june or July.

my buddy works for live nation and if you check my other posts he was right on about Chicago Aug. 8 and 15.

I changed my hotel reservations at the resort form July based on this so I hope I am right too!

Anyone else seen the announcement for the 2 shows at Toyota Park in the Tribune? It just seems kind of odd that nobody else has mentioned also seeing this.

Confirmed except the Tribune says on sale 2/9 at 10:00am No mention of ticket prices.

A Monday sale? Maybe because the unbelievable Dead Nation ticket fiasco today for Raleigh, Charlotte and PHish fans? That is going to be hard for us - I don't think I can stroll in to work at noon, can't log into from work and not sure I am willing to wait until evening......I think I maybe coming down with a touch of the flu.

What weekend is everyone going to be there? I can't take vacation days in August so it will be a quick trip.

We stayed at Hampton Inn at Midway(on Cicero) last year.... alot of us stayed there. They were really cool there.... Big parking lot and they let us party in it the night before.... I think it was about maybe 5 miles??? away from the venue.??

We may have to hit the 8th show..... on our way back from Cinci...

Vicki says sick days are better used in the summer. Save the vacation days for Vegas. We should be there both weekends if we can get tickets.
