would someone please send me a copy of the ad from the tribune? i can't seem to locate it myself online. i'm interested in the ticket pricing as well as the vendor. i didn't see this show listed on the ticketmaster website. thanks...

No mention of either pricing or the actual ticket vendor in the ad. I assumed it will be Live Nation as it was last year.

And last year's concerts were available thru ticketmaster and livenation, with a presale. We'll have to see what disasters await us this year.

I think Toyota Park is Ticketmaster and Alpine is Live Nation. When it comes down to it, they both s***, but I was actually able to get thru at 8pm saturday night for the NC shows. Idon't if it's the economy or what, but a Buffett show never goes that long without being sold out.

I was pulling up great seats for NC at 5pm yesterday. It makes me wish I had more fun money for airfare. I know some damn fine parrotheads in NC.

That was my first thought as well. Weren't rooms around 100$ last year? The cheapest I found was the Holiday Inn at 153$ a night (thats only if you pay now) plus 16.6% tax and 10$ a day parking.

I stayed at a Hilton downtown last year for $100 thru priceline. Train out to midway and then shuttle to concert. You do need a expendable cooler.

You may want to check these out, in Tinley Park...
Virtually next door to where he used to play...Tweeter/World/First Midwest.
They're straight down Harlem Av. About 15 miles, probably a 20-25 minute drive, but a very nice area.

last year, a bunch of us booked into the Hampton before they realized what was going on-rates then jumped about $70 a night.

For those staying downtown, especially the second weekend-just know that it will be very heavy traffic downtown because of the air and water show.

Can you tailgate on site at the venue ? We usually go to the Cincy show but thinking about trying something new this year.
